About Bayaan

BAYAAN, Asian Women's Support Group, provides opportunities for social interaction, mutual support and activities.

The women’s group meets every Tuesday 1-3pm.  Women make friends in a safe environment with the ability to communicate with staff and each other in several South East Asian languages.  There are self development workshops and a counsellor is available to provide one to one confidential counselling.

Bayaan Girls (7-11yrs and 12-16yrs) supports young Asian girls to achieve their full potential by encouraging them to go on to further and higher education. Mentors work alongside youth workers to provide a stimulating and enjoyable programme of activities.  This includes photography projects, health workshops, exercise and leadership skills workshops.
