I joined the Parenting Group at Trinity in January. I didn't know anyone else there and was a bit shy at first. Staff helped me get to know other mums and I now have lots of good friends who also bring their children. I like doing different things and look forward to coming every week and I know my baby learns things too.Trinity Children's Centre
I had triplets recently. At first it was really hard to cope with them, I couldn't get out of the house and had to have a triple buggy. Staff helped me find a nursery for my babies, and helped me apply for a childcare grant. They helped me learn how to manage. They're at nursery now and doing well and I feel I can handle them now though it's still hard sometimes. Trinity Children's Centre
I'm 19 and I came from Bangladesh a few years ago to live with my husband. I remember when I first came I was frightened and couldn't read or write. I met women like me in my English class and they helped me. With them, I learnt first to read and write, and now, I can use the internet and write emails. I love my English class because I learn things - being able to read, write and speak English but also I've made friends. Bayaan
I've been coming to the women's group for one year. My husband died recently, leaving me to take care of our young children. His family had taken my papers. I don't speak English and I didn't know what to do. Staff helped me and so did my friends from the centre. Now, I'm learning English and I have people who can help me. Bayaan
To get a good job, you need to read and write. My teacher helped me a lot and now I can help my children at school. I can do different jobs now and will be able to help my family.Adult Education
